Shared note | 6/17/90, History of the Buell Family in England and in America,Albert Welles; pg.126, "It is stated that Thankful Buell was married Oct. 20,1791, to Abner Bishop, and lived in what is now North Madison, Conn.; but the records recite that one Thankful Buell married William Nettleton Oct. 28,1766." Both of these accounts are probably correct, as William Nettleton might have been her first husband and died many years prior to the second marriage. |
