| Shared note | !BIR-MARR: NEHG Register Vol 12 p217 (no marr. date given, but states that Edward Richard was of Cambridge) A marriage record exists in the Newton, MA, Vital Records, for a Mary OF CAMBRIDGE and this Edward Richards. That this is actually this Mary is uncertain, and certainly not proven. The date of that marriage (20 Mar 1766) could be this woman, she would be just over 21 at that time. In the entry in Whitny12 (don't know who submitted it, but it probably stems from the source above), it says that Edward Richards was the one who was "of Cambridge".
