Name given as Martha on marriage record in VR's, but as Mary in death record and the notice of baptism of son Elisha, which is the only child who appears in the Newton records. Family must have been living elsewhere, but doesn't appear in any of the sets of VR's that are currently available. The w. of Timothy, who died in 1828 and is shown as this woman in the source cited above, is shown as age 39 in 1828, ergo born 1789 and thus the w. of another Timothy - perhaps the son Timothy shown as born ca 1776 in Dr. Harris's NEGH article above.
