Shared note

Birth derived from document (?) in 1820 in which she gave her age as 59. Interesting speculateion. The eighth child was named James Trufant Whitney, and the ninth child, Ann Gowel Whitney married an Adam Trufant -- could this woman's name have actually been Trufant rather than Truant?
