Ezra Whitney, son of Ezra Whitney and Agnes …, was born on November 29, 1760 in Lunenburg, MA and died on May 8, 1842 in Burns, Allegheny, NY at the age of 81. He married Sally Hooker on December 22, 1785 in Athens, Windham, VT. She was born about 1764.
| Shared note | Served in The French and Indian War under Capt Jabez Bradbury at St George's (present site of Thomaston, ME) from 11 June, 1755 to 30 Nov 1755. Mother of first two nameless children, unknown, but may have been Agnes. I am seeking an Agnes Ross in the vicinity of Thomaston, ME, as the first son must have been conceived while Ezra was serving at St George there. Lunenberg is next adjacent to Shirley, MA (family homestead very near that border), and the use of Rebekah for daughter's name significant.
