Shared note	A William Whitney of Winchendon had intent to marry Anna Heywood in Gardner in 1790. May be this man. A William Whitney died 18 Jan 1846 in Gardner, Worcester, MA aged 81y 6m 28d of Palsy and the VR states born in Weston, son of William. Using the date calculator, given the above data, the birthdate would come out 21 Jun 1764, which, given the date, William as the father, and the entry that states "born in Weston", this must be the same man. Further, an Anna Whitney, widow of William Whitney died 3 days later, also of Palsy, she was born in Sterling. I therefore am satisfied that the marriage cited above is this couple.
