Shared note | Death date provided to Jeanne Muse by someone named Edward Stone, but this date is the date of his will being probated, thus he must have died some weeks before. From Shawn Boone Whitney: He was a farmer, resided in Ashburnham, MA. He made his will in 1864 and it was probated July 31, 1868. Peter Howe was executor. He made bequests to his wife Levina and children John, Abner, Levina G. Cushing, Mary Puffer Howe, Lucy Whitney Chase, Stephen Puffer, Belinda Cushing; resided in Westminster and Ashburnham, MA. The latter two legatees would seem to have been grandchildren. No marriage yet found (as of 10 Apr 1998) for Lucy Whitney to anyone named Chase. Provided by: Allan Green [email protected] |
