The "History of Cuyahoga Co., Ohio" by Johnson gives a few pages of information. His children were Flavel, Jubal, Vina, Betsey, and Hollis who married Charlotte Wallace, the township's 1st marriage. Guilford was a son of Samuel Jr. and Phebe (Harrington) Whitney and he was born 2 Jan., 1769, Shrewsbury, VT.
