He married Elizabeth Betsey Rouget, daughter of Henry Rouget and Elizabeth Simon, on May 13, 1840 in St. Sampson. She was born in January 1814 in St.Sampson, Guernsey and died on April 20, 1890 in Rue DE L'eglise St., St. Islands at the age of 76.
