    1. Benjamin Meyer, son of Christian Meyer and Ann Geertruy Theunyes, was born on October 21, 1730 and died on December 12, 1819 at the age of 89. He married Lea Osterhout, daughter of Teunis Osterhout and Catrina Legg, on August 13, 1756 in Kingston, N. Y.,. She was born before February 11, 1738 and died on June 22, 1812.

Both are buried in the Finger Burying Ground at Plattekill, N. Y. Benjamin Meyer2 was received into Katsbaan church 26 Dec., 1750, where he was an elder in 1786. Was a member of 1st Regt. Ulster Co. Militia in the Revolution. He was one of the trustees of the Commonalty of Kingston in 1791.
