From Robert Ward: Savage cites the Register of Middlesex Co. as the source for the 28 Nov 1660 birthdate. [It is also in the Watertown VR's as 28 9mo 1660 - AEG] He was granted administration, along with his mother Ruth and brother John, on the estate of his father after 12 Oct 1692, Watertown, Middlesex, MA.

Barry, History of Framingham, p. 436, gives him (Benjamin) a second wife, Elizabeth; says his will was probated in 1736, and that he left Benjamin, Samuel, Joseph and Elizabeth. This is the only source for Samuel and Joseph, and it is assumed that the Elizabeth is the 2nd wife rather than a daughter.
