Shared note

Neither she nor any heirs are mentioned in the final settlement of her father's estate on 15 Jan 1734/5 in Weston, Middlesex, MA. However, her husband, Joseph Harrington, appeared before the court on 13 Jan 1733/4 to ask for an adjustment in the terms of the settlement of the estate, representing the interest of his wife. Their names were conspicuously absent, however a year later at the time of the final settlement. An Elizabeth Whitney is shown as dying in Weston 6 Jan 1735/6, which would seem to be a year later, but someone may have "corrected" the date by adding the 1736 alternative to the original date, in which case, it could be this woman dying one week before the final settlement date - but that does not explain what might have happened to Joseph Harrington.
