Shared note	Those other relatives who told me about Thomas and family said that William started out as a tin miner, but fell down a mine shaft and broke his leg so badly that he wore a brace for the rest of his life. So then he became a wagon driver. So I'm guessing that William delivered groceries to Emily's employer's residence (common in those days!), and that's how they met. I've also been told by their son, my great-uncle, that he and all of William and Emily's other kids played at least five musical instruments (Hazel played 22!). They traveled across the USA during the vaudeville years, billed as "The World's Largest Musical Family". Apparently, from a very early age my grandfather Reginald could play drums and any brass instrument. (Communication from Robert Lawrence) @MI59248@
