| Shared note | The Upton VR says died 8 July, but the gravestone gives the July 21 date, and says "in 76th year". Apropos birthplace, the Weston VR says born June 2, 1722 in Groton, and the Westborough VR's say born 2 Jul 1722 in Westborough. The couple was married in Weston in July of 1721. With the reference in the Weston records, where they came from, showing being born elsewhere, i.e., in Groton, and the Westborough record simply recording the different date - since all the rest of the children were born in Westborough, I tend to choose the Weston entry as being the more likely to be accurate, and the Westborough one a "back dated" entry so as to have all the children in this family included in the record - AEG.
