She married Presley Thomas Buckner, son of Jehu Buckner and Nancy Stitt, on February 13, 1851 in Monroe Cnty, Indiana. He was born on April 14, 1828 in Marion, Monroe, Indiana and died in 1866 in New Orleans, Louisiana at the age of 37.

Nancy Mariah Buckner, daughter of Presley Thomas Buckner and Elizabeth Van Buskirk, was born on September 19, 1856 in Indiana and died on February 11, 1943 in Bloomington, Monroe Cnty, Indiana at the age of 86. She married William Hancock on August 10, 1875 in Monroe Cnty, Ind.. He was born about 1855 and died in 1881.

Thomas Isaac Buckner, son of Presley Thomas Buckner and Elizabeth Van Buskirk, was born on July 16, 1861 in Indiana and died on May 7, 1940 in Bloomington, Monroe Cnty, Indiana at the age of 78. He married Alice Clark between 1881 and 1885. She was born on September 8, 1861 and died in 1901 at the age of 39.
