Ross Andrews, source of some of what appears in Robert Ward's 6-Gen Whitney, has provided the marriage date(s) as 10 Oct 1769 (probably date of intent) and 19 Oct 1769. However, the above date and place appear in the Gorham, ME, Vital Records, and will be used until someone demonstrates that that marriage was a different Hannah Whitney and a different Joseph Brown.
